At the end of this month I will step down from the Groundwork team and Zosia Jo and Lara Ward will be joined by two new team members. I have been part of Groundwork since it formed in 2015 and believe it is now time for a change of perspective, for both me and Groundwork.

Groundwork is taking significant steps to be more diverse and inclusive as well as increasing its bilingualism and access offers. I am glad to have been part of that thinking and planning and have learnt a lot through that process.

This role, supporting the dance community, has provided me with some stability while bringing up three tiny people – I am hugely grateful for that. I hope I will now be able to carve out more time for my artistic practice – it is an interesting time for that experiment! I am looking forward to taking part in Groundwork’s new program without having any of the responsibility!

I would like to thank my colleagues old and new, Beth Powlesland, Jessie Brett, Jo Young, Chloe Loftus, Lara Ward and Zosia Jo. It has been pleasure to work with you all, I will miss spending time with you.
