Laura has worked as a performer for choreographers such as Athina Vahla, Fillip Van Huffel, Henri Oguike, Ben Wright, Rosemary Lee and Willi Dorner and has trained, taught and performed across the U.K, Europe and North and South America. She is currently dancing for Jo Fong Projects.
Laura has been teaching regularly for thirteen years, in a variety of dance institutions (TrinityLaban, London Studio Centre, DanceEast, Swindon Dance, Roehampton University, The Place, Urdang) at both community and degree level and both creatively and technically. Laura has also taught, directed, and collaborated in an interdisciplinary way (through The Circus Space, Italia Conti, LISPA and Central School of Speech and Drama) working with film, animation, gallery and site specific as well as stage performance.
Laura has a B.A in Dance Theatre, an M.A in Dance Performance and has since trained in other movement techniques with different cultural backgrounds such as Parkour, Circus, Yoga, Aikido and Zen. Laura uses this to expand the scope and personality of the class.
