Jessie Brett is a choreographer based between Wales and Ethiopia who is passionate about Inclusive dance performance and has been creating and touring her work for 12 years. For the last 8 years Jessie has been living between two cultures developing work and relationships in UK and Ethiopia. In Wales Jessie has been working in partnership with Hijinx Theatre and has toured her outdoor Inclusive dance work to Germany, Spain and across Wales. In Ethiopia Jessie has collaborated with Addis Demissie, Destino Dance Company, Meseret Yirga and has recently established a training program and performing company for 12 disabled dancers called Addis Guzo Dance Group with Dawit Seto. Jessie has had a rich experience over the past 8 years growing to really know another very different culture and developing deeper levels of understanding about people and other places. She is eager to tell stories with and about people from different worlds in order to encourage understanding and positivity in difference.
