I am a visual and movement artist. Originally from London I have been living in Carmarthenshire, Wales since 2002. My practice focuses on questions of materiality, the body and self and relationship to objects and environment. My pieces can be described as autobiographical improvisations where movement is in conversation with objects, location or a conceptual question.

I graduated in Fine Art from Goldsmiths College in 1989. I studied at the Centre of New Dance development, Netherlands for 1full time year in 1993. I completed an MA in Fine Art at Swansea Metropolitan University in 2012. I was involved with Chisenhale Dance Space as a member from 1992- 2007; this included several commissions and research projects culminating in a residency at Chisenhale in 2007. I was a member of an International performance Network 1996-2001 and hosted a one week performance and workshop event for IPN at Chisenhale Dance Space in 2001. I have collaborated extensively with filmmaker Tanya Syed, and other performance artists such as Felicity Croyden. I have made installation pieces for live performance and recorded performance for camera. Recently I have been directing and performing a trio for Galleries which was supported by the Arts council of Wales. I am currently teaching movement improvisation at Pontardawe Arts Centre, Swansea.

I have recently taught at Independent Dance, Siobhan Davis Studios, London for their Monday night Improvisation sessions.
