Job Description: Groundwork Collective Member

Offer: 4 months, starting mid-August to mid-December, 12 hours per month. Total 48 hours.

Rate: £15 per hour.

We’re looking for one more team member to join the Groundwork team for the remainder of our current Arts Council of Wales funded activity up until December 2018. This may lead to an ongoing role to take Groundwork’s activity forward into a new phase (funding dependent).

Groundwork is a collective of independent artists who are providing grass roots professional development for dancers. You can find out more about us here

Our Aims:

Our goal is to create an environment in which individual artists can thrive and a vibrant dance community can flourish.

Groundwork Pro delivers high calibre development opportunities and artistic encounters for dance artists. This includes class, workshops, talks, sharing of practice, exchange of ideas, dialogue and networking opportunities.

Role:

To contribute to the team and overall delivery of Groundwork Pro’s programme. This will include management and administration of activity, event support, on the ground marketing, clerking for class and Groundhub events, social media posting and actively engaging with the dance community in Wales.

Must be based in Cardiff and able to provide on the ground support for Groundwork Pro during these months.

If the post continues through into a new phase of activity the role will include programme curation.

To Apply:

If this sounds right up your street and you have the skills to match,  send the following to groundworkprocardiff@gmail.com.

  1. Your CV with any relevant experience.
  2. A short paragraph outlining your relevant experience and the skills you would bring to the team.

We will endeavour to respond to all applicants by 3rd Aug.
