Through his classes, Theo proposes to explore how, as movers, we can bring greater attention to our sensory and perceptive experience of the space, each other and ourselves. Drawing on exercises that use touch, vision and sound as drivers for movement and balancing these capacities with a keen awareness of our form, physical structure and the connections and directions within the moving body. Set to some great tunes, each class will be a mix of exploration, led movement and devised combinations that are intended to help dancers find greater clarity in action and a sense of being available to each other whilst in motion. Theo finishes class with phrase work and group improvisations that encourage playful, vivid and expansive dancing.
