100yrs since women achieved the right to vote and equal suffrage was acheived for men: Where are we now?

Groundwork Pro is hosting a series of discussions/events to celebrate, continue conversations around gender equality and examine action in our art form.

We have 3 exceptional women joining us to discuss their politics, practice and personal journeys. Join us at Three Doors Up, (Queens Arcade) over a glass of wine and bite to eat.

Tue 16th Jan 5.45 – 7.30: Amy Bell – Missing in Action: Gender Guerrillas

Wed 24th Jan 5.45 – 7.30: Hannah Buckley – We Are Now: Celebrating intergenerational exchange and women.

Wed 31st Jan 5.45 – 7.30: Eleanor Sikorski – Take it personally: In the journey towards equality, everyone needs to play a part and it has to get personal.

Thurs 15th March 5.45-7.30: In discussion with Jamila Johnson-Small.

An access fund is available for Wales based artists who may need assistance with travel, accommodation, childcare, costs associated with disabled access or other costs incurred.
