2 days of creative practice with Miranda Tufnell and Cai Tomos, two of the UK’s leading facilitators with a particular focus on movement and wellbeing.

Both days will including dancing for ourselves and with others, listening and sharing.

Day 1
Inviting the dance

This day is an opportunity to look at how we support the emergence of dance and movement with a variety of people with whom we work.  Looking at ways into ‘connection’ creativity and imagination. The day will focus on developing skills of whole body listening and touch, with the intention of broadening and sharing ways into being with another through attending to the body and imagination and allowing space for the unknown dances to appear.

Day 2

Finding our own dance: Care and resourcing

In order to be able to offer creative spaces with generosity and care we must be able to turn towards our self and offer ample time to care for our own creative needs. We will spend time together looking at how we find our own dance with the support of others. We will explore various ways into improvisations that awaken and broaden our own connection to our imagination.

Important questions might be ‘how do we resource ourselves? What makes us feel well?  And how do we carry the care for ourselves alongside care for those with whom we work.

This workshop is being offered by Groundwork in partnership with Dawns I Bawb.
