Live Practice with Laila Diallo, 10.00am-11.30am

Q & A, 11.30am – 1pm (a chance to hear from some key people in the dance scene and ask questions)

We acknowledge that this is a tougher time than ever to enter the field of dance as a new graduate. We also know how difficult it can be to get to know the dance scene in Wales, what opportunities, venues, companies and other artists are around and how to navigate life as a freelance dance artist. National Youth Dance Wales and Groundwork are delighted to be working together to welcome new grads into the sector with an online Grad Day. It is a chance to meet, dance and come together.

We also warmly welcome established artists to join us for class with the wonderful Laila Diallo. A chance to move, meet and connect.

The Q&A panel will include Jamie Jenkins of National Youth Dance Wales, Zosia Jo of Groundwork Pro, Tracey Brown of Rubicon Dance and Wales Wide Training Programme.

Live Physical Practice is donation based. If you have income at the moment donations are welcome but we do not expect payment from freelancers whose income has been disrupted by COVID 19.

If access issues due to e.g. a disability are a barrier to you being able to join Groundwork classes please contact groundworkprocardiff@gmail.com to discuss your requirements confidentially
