We are super excited to bring London pro-class favourite Ben McEwen to Cardiff!

His simple yet technical approach will have you flying across the floor with the greatest of ease

In Ben’s class you’ll be taking a look at floor work, through the material of Flying Low.

He explains “This is a technique initiated by David Zambrano that uses simple movement patterns and principles (such as spiralling movements that alternate between expansion and cohesion) to dance our whole selves in, out and along the floor with speed, efficiency… and pleasure! We’ll take a detailed look at the material, breaking it down to find functions that work for each of us, then we’ll put it back together for some full-bodied dancing!

I highly recommend long trousers (within reason!) and covered shoulders.”

An access fund is available for Wales based artists who may need assistance with travel, accommodation, childcare, costs associated with disabled access or other costs incurred.

Classes operate on a drop in basis, 4 places are bookable in advance if your circumstances require (i.e travelling to attend, or you need to arrange assistance or childcare) please contact us to book.
