Andrea Buckley will lead morning class in February and deliver one to one Rolfing sessions.

A Delicate Balance is a living matter, self organising around the physical processes that enfold and threaten to dissolve the very moment it is attempting to portray.

These classes will create an investigative process of tuning in, expanding attention and navigating our physical world to encounter our relationship with gravity. We will begin by diving into our internal landscape. Building a learning environment that can allow each of us to encounter different aspects of time, space, weight and weightlessness.

Taking time to listen, work with imagery and principles of touch and being touched will help deepen our practice – working independently, together with a partner and partners or as a group. A constellation of activity, of presence shared from a simple focus, to awaken and establish all the senses whilst moving together. Such events illuminating a body of material – physiological, human matter.

Some questions that may guide my teaching during this time: Can exploring the breath allows us to find a much easier relationship with the ground we walk on and the air we breathe? How can we let perception grow? What is the alive experience that moves us moment by moment and how can it nourish how we live as creative  beings?
