Amy Bell leads a dynamic release based class. Starting with the breath, the core and opening the senses to find energetic connections through the body, class develops to find echoes of co-ordination patterning as we grow from the horizontal to the vertical.

Time is given to functional and fluid floorwork, improvised moments and expansive travelling sequences which build in athleticism, complexity and dynamic range. Attention is given to momentum, rhythm and clarity.

Open to all levels of movers. Class is about each person’s experience of the material. Come and make it your own!

Amy Bell is joining Groundwork Pro as part of our event series:

Representation of the People: Act

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote, join Groundwork as we host a series of talks and events to question ‘Where are we now?’ With 3  exceptional women joining us to discuss their politics, practice and personal journeys we will continue conversations around gender equality and examine action in our art form.

Live Physical Practice is donation based. If you have income at the moment donations are welcome but we do not expect payment from freelancers whose income has been disrupted by COVID 19.

If access issues due to e.g. a disability are a barrier to you being able to join Groundwork classes please contact groundworkprocardiff@gmail.com to discuss your requirements confidentially
