Our partnership with Ballet Cymru will connect independents and pre-professionals for this full day workshop at Ballet Cymru in their beautiful studio at Rogerstone, Newport.

N.B. The Groundwork team will car offer car shares from Chapter – email us on groundworkprocardiff@gmail.com to enquire

10:00am – 4:30pm at Ballet Cymru Studio, Rogerstone, Newport
Set to some great tunes, the session will begin with exploratory movement ideas using the senses, led movement patterns to enable fluid and dynamic connections in the body and group work that encourages play and a sense of togetherness. Theo will then share some of the creative tasks and movement scores that he applies to his choreographic work.
Theo’s workshop is carefully tailored to suit all levels of experience, primarily inviting dancers to bring attention to their perceptive experience of the space, their fellow dancers and their own moving body. He works with response as a way to disable self consciousness; response to touch, to sight, to orientation and to the dancers imagination.
*If you book on and need to cancel, please give us at least three days notice otherwise we may not be able to offer a full refund.
