Deborah is an independent choreographer, dance artist and mother based in Cardiff. She is an associate artist of Coreo Cymru and Chapter.

Deborah’s work described as ‘bold, beautiful and intimate’ has been presented nationally and internationally. ‘Caitlin’, created with Light, Ladd & Emberton won Best Dance Production in Wales Theatre Awards 2015 and is being presented at BAC as part of A Nations Theatre Festival. ‘HIDE’ was presented at British Dance Edition 2014, Spring Loaded 2014 and was shortlisted for a Theatre Wales Award 2014. Deborah shortlisted as a Place Prize Semi Finalist in 2010 and received a Creative Wales Award in 2009. She has received choreographic commissions from companies including Aura Dance Theatre Lithuania, Dance Shorts Wales, Welsh Independent Dance and Polish Dance Theatre.

Her work as a performer and collaborator includes Joanna Young, Run Ragged Productions, Caroline Sabin, and Sean Tuan John. She has extensive teaching experience and teaches for Young Actors Studio at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She also works with other artists including Karol Cysewski, Jem Treays, Zosia Jo and Jessie Brett in a supporting role through directing, mentoring and producing.
