In case you hadn’t heard, and with huge thanks to your support and that of our partners, we have been successful in securing Arts Council of Wales FUNDING FOR ANOTHER 18 MONTHS OF GROUNDWORK PRO!

From January 2019, we can continue to offer a programme of classes, workshops and events to nurture your practice, fuel your creativity and provide a valuable sense of community amongst us. WHOOP! 

First up, we are delighted to welcome back Kirstie Simson to kick off our 2019 program!

Our first classes of 2019 will also see the return of Cardiff based choreographer/performer Kim Noble.

Kim’s class focuses on finding fluidity, using momentum and releasing through movement. With a structured combination of technical exercises, improvisation, dynamic phrases and good music the emphasis of the class is to find enjoyment and a sense of freedom through the body.

We’re really chuffed to see so many of you taking up the offer of free studio time. A huge thanks to Chapter for their ongoing support. We’re thrilled to continue this offer into 2019…. so get booking and make use of this free space!

It was great to move with Charlie Morrissey and all who were able to come and move in our last week of 2018 class!


And finally, thanks to our SEEDS residency artists, Shakeera Ahmun, Luke Divall and Natalie Corne for sharing their week of fascinating enquiry, and to those who came, witnessed and joined in the discussion.
