Groundspace is free studio space for freelancers, so you can move, groove & create to your hearts content

The network of venues offering Groundspace has grown! 

They now include: 

The Riverfront, Newport: Mondays, 12:30pm-2:45pm & 2:45pm-5:00pm
Motion Control, Barry: Fridays, 10:00am-1:30pm & 1:30pm-5:00pm
DanceBlast, Abergavenny*: Monday-Friday, 10:00am-3:00pm
Chapter Arts, Cardiff: Fridays, 9:30am-11:30m & 11:30am-1:30pm

(we aim to keep growing this list to reach freelancers in areas we do not yet support, so do keep your eyes peeled)

What can you use the space for?

This space may offer an opportunity to: 

  • Develop your personal practice
  • Exchange skills and ideas with fellow artists
  • Begin or engage in a creative process
  • Have extra space to do that pre-recorded / online dance class 

…. Or just simple enjoy moving and getting into your body
